| How we began ------------------------------------ next- |
 In
1994 a group of law professors, who had taught together in
the 1980's, attended a Christmas party.
After dinner one of us asked, "What effect is the internet going
to have on law practice?" Another replied, "It's going
to be just like legal research - whoever ownes the keywords will
get the business."
Since we are all competitive, a scavenger hunt began among us to see who
could find the best legal web site names. Before long we had reserved over
180 legal specialty domain names. More importantly, we discovered that
the internet allowed us to have fun and work together again as if the others
were still just down the hall.
